Choose a Color E-paper style

All four styles keep the original color and motion of the display. Their character comes mainly from paper texture, grain, and overall visual weight.

How the four papers differ

Cotton Art Paper uses even fine fibres that remain visible without distracting from text. Handmade Recycled Paper adds pulp flecks and irregular fibres for the strongest paper impression. Matte Magazine Paper is finer and softer without making the screen look washed out. Color Newsprint uses clearer grain and a darker paper finish.

Why the thumbnail is only a starting point

The picker shows the relative character of each paper, but the final result also depends on display brightness, contrast, panel type, screen size, and the content underneath. Compare the styles over your usual documents, websites, and apps rather than judging only by the thumbnail.

A practical way to compare

Open a page that combines dark text, a pale background, and a familiar color image. Move through the four styles and look for the option that keeps text clear, makes white areas calmer, and leaves colors easy to recognize. The strongest texture is not automatically the best choice for every display.
